![]() Units are classified into one of several classes: infantry, ranged, pikemen, cavalry, or siege. The game's HUD, called the Palantír, shows the player's hero units and their abilities, a mini-map, and objectives. Most people don't know about this and dont' know how does it work.įor example: if I created my mod, or if I've NOT original game copy, I can't install any damn patches without original files. Typically a patch will add a new features, fix a bugs, or add new units, many things are implemented or balanced and many files are modify into the game directory: asset.dat, ini.big, audio.big, maps.big, window.big and other things. "How to install latest patch" or "How does Patch work?". I have seen several people who have had trouble to install a new patch for bfme1/bfme2/rotwk so I figured that I would make a tutorial (or article).
